Thank You for your interest in Cub Scouting!

   A few years ago, I was in your shoes, wondering what I could do to help teach my son the values and skills he would need for the rest of his life, all while trying to balance the everyday routine of school, family, and sports schedules.  It might seem like a big undertaking, but it is a journey of life that will lead to some of the most rewarding time you will spend with your child.  Watching my boys learn to respect the world they live in and the people that they share it with, has given me such confidence in their ability to grow into leaders of tomorrow.  Everyday each of them amazes me with a new bit of knowledge of nature, citizenship, and faith. 
I joined with the intention of hanging out and going on campouts with my boys as a bonding experience.  Little did I know how rewarding it would be for not only them but me as well.  It didn’t take me long to jump in with both feet and help guide the young boys to have the wonderful experience I had as a scout a few decades ago.
 I have been given the opportunity to grow as a leader, as will you if you decide to accept the challenge, not only in the world of Cub Scouts, but also as a leader in business.  The training that is freely given in the program has helped teach me how to deal with children and adults.   I look forward to helping you and your son become part of our program, and giving you the materials you need to succeed.
